Happy New Year

Thanks my friends for the new year party, all the games, all the food, all the little details. They all show your incredible friendship. Though I have only known all of you for a year or so, and only meet each other once in a while, you guys are really great. I like your purity of heart. I really hope I can come to know each of you more for the years to come.

------------------------------------------

I can foresee so many things happening this coming year, so many things to consider, to take care of. At this time next year, where will I be, what will I be doing? Possibly big changes.

As with birthday and Christmas, my attitude towards this new year is much different from before. Rather than feeling indifferent, I am waiting in anticipation for this coming year to unfold, and for the first time there is God in the picture. This year, I feel that I should finally have the ability to take things more seriously, to overcome my laziness, and do every little thing faithfully and with discipline. I feel I can do it, not because of myself (I have tried so many years but failed), but because I believe God will provide when I really desire them.

This year, I will learn to keep my heart open for God to do His work, to pursue purity at heart, but not to be naive with people. There's so much to learn.

--------------------------------------------

I am so happy for you two!! There's not a more beautiful thing than two people committing their lives to each other, not mentioning being able to watch the marriage proposal live! :) It was a moving scene indeed.
